La Roccacia 2015
Verdicchio di Matelica, Italy 12% abv
Normally £9.49 now only £8.99
A medium bodied wine, with fresh nutty aromas, lemon zest and
hints of stone fruit.
It's crisp, dry and citrussy with a real depth of flavour. Unoaked
for freshness, it's very easy drinking on its own, but goes well
with a range of salads and seafood too.
Harrow and Hope Brut Rosé 2014
Marlow, England 12.5% abv
The next instalment of our Brut Rosé comes from the truly
wonderful 2014 vintage, the warmest on record. Ripe fruit was not
hard to come by that year and we picked in beautiful warm sunshine
throughout harvest. It has a lot in common with our 2013 release,
but with extra red fruit character.
It was also such a wonderful year for Chardonnay and we have
added 30% to this years blend for the finesse and balance we are
looking for. Once again 30% was fermented in aged oak barrels for
extra complexity. A really charming wine that lovers of our
previous release will adore.
